Hello my lovelies! If you’re like me, October snuck up on this girl like a “Whodunnit” movie. Wait, what?!?! Wahhhhhh! While I’m not completely sold on the impending cooler temps, I am totally psyched to share a few of my favorite things I’m loving on this month. So without further ado:
I’m normally a skeptical Sally during premiere season because I’ve fallen in love with a show, been burned, and it’s all been taken away from me. (I’m looking at you, Dirty Sexy Money.) But this show is for real. It’s full of heart and heartbreak (but in a good way) and family and angst (but in a good way). The cast is great (Hello Mandy Moore & Milo V.). The show has a little mystery, which I appreciate in the google age. And I really can’t wait to see what happens next with the characters. It’s good, y’all! Trust me.
This Is Us starts back October 11th at 9pm EST. Don’t miss it!
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is a life-changer. Based on agreements you make with yourself, you’ll learn four incredible lessons: 1. Be impeccable with your word. 2. Don’t take anything personally. 3. Don’t make assumptions. 4. Always do your best. I re-read this book at least once a year. It’s short and concise and one of those books you’ll be stuffing in people’s Christmas stockings. I know I did. Check out the link below. It’s on sale at Amazon for only $6.89. Totally worth it.
The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (A Toltec Wisdom Book)
I never like the Apple iPhone updates. Ever. It takes me a good solid 6 months to stop bitching. But the new iOS 10 update has me rethinking my tune. I now have the ability to NEVER have to listen to voicemails again as the update transcribes the messages for you. There’s also tons more you can do as far as messaging (GIFs galore), Apple News is fantastic, and the phone wakes up when you pick it up. And you can read and quickly respond to texts right from the lock screen. Plus, Siri is WAY better. I approve this update, Apple.
Southern Living is ready for fall, y’all! And they’ve almost got me on board too! The no-carve pumpkin ideas are adorbs, and the soup and stew recipes are top-notch, as always. Speaking of pumpkins…
I’m a newbie coffee drinker, and I have a confession to make. I am obsessed with McDonald’s Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Like so obsessed that I downloaded the app so that I get a free latte after purchasing 5 lattes, obsessed. And they make it iced, as well. It’s totally delish and worth a try, even from you hardcore Starbucks lovers.
And in case you needed a reminder to let go of something you’ve been holding onto for far too long that no longer serves you, hear this: Let it go, boo!
Happy fall!
xo,

I love premiere season too but the only show I really watched which was Scandal has been rescheduled to start in January. So, I am simply enjoying the beautiful colors of the falling leaves. Oh and the autumn jazz tunes. I love those. Fashion as well. Love fall fashion.
Fall is fabulous!!! Thanks for reading!
Lot of good stuffs here! Thanks for sharing with us! Love that everything is pumpkin and spice now! Happy Fall!

I read the Four Agreements years ago and yes it is life changing. Easy to remember. Now I have to try pumpkin coffee at McDonald! Happy Fall.
Isn’t it the best?!?! Enjoy the latte! It’s so delish! Happy fall!
I’m going to have to try that McDonald’s pumpkin coffee now! I watched the first episode of This is Us, but now I have to catch up. It seems pretty popular, so I think we’re safe it’s not going to get cancelled 🙂
I’ve been watching This Is Us as well and I love it so far!
It’s so good. It definitely fills that Parenthood void in my life!
Sounds like some great things for fall! That Southern Living magazine looks fantastic, I love the season of pumpkins and earth tones, darker nights and cooler air, wonderful. I enjoy reading your blog, have an awesome October!
Me too! All my favorite things! Thanks for stopping by!! Happy fall! <3
The Four Agreements sounds really helpful, I’m definitely adding it to my TBR!
Let me know what you think about it!
Yes to all of this!
I’m trying to get into coffee too, but still stuck on my chai lattes! 🙂
